Calf Starter with Rumensin
Purpose: For the prevention and control of coccidiosis in calves caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii.
Active Drug Ingredient—Monensin 45 grams/ton
Grain products, plant protein products, processed grain by-products, cane molasses, vegetable oil, ground limestone, salt, monocalcium phosphate, dicalcium phosphate, dried whey, Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast culture, magnesium sulfate, potassium sulfate, magnesium oxide, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, sodium selenite, vitamin E supplement, ethylenediamine dihydriodide, vitamin A supplement, vitamine D3 supplement, niacin, cobalt sulfate, calcium pantothenate, riboflavin supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, sodium sulfate, sodium sulfite (a preservative), sodium bentonite, natural & artificial flavors, yucca schidigera extract, verxite granules.
Feed Elenbaas Calf Starter Rumensin Medicated with at least an equal weight of liquid milk or milk replacer so the total diet does not exceed 0.3 ppm supplemental selenium. Feed 0.14-1.0 mg. of Monensin per pound of body weight per day up to a maximum of 200 mg. per head per day depending on the severity of challenge. One pound of grain per hundred pounds of body weight will provide 0.225 mg. of Monensin per pound of body weight. Grain may be fed with milk or milk replacer. Some growers include limited forage. Provide free choice water.
