Elenbaas horse grains are supplemented with vitamins and minerals as well as providing protein and energy as recommended by the National Research Council and industry experts. Do not feed additional grains or supplements when feeding Elenbaas feeds. Provide free choice salt and clean water. Always provide adequate free choice forage. Do not feed in such amounts as to exceed 0.30 ppm Selenium in the total dry matter intake.

Foals should be fed Mare & Foal 16% to meet their growth requirements. Lactating mares should be fed Performance 14% on excellent forage such as alfalfa, or Mare & Foal 16% on good grass forage. Feed Sweet 12% to idle and light working horses. Feed Performance 14% to moderate and hard working horses on average forages. All other should be matched to forage quality.
